Mono ammonium phosphate MAP (12-61-0) is one of the most needed and completely water-soluble fertilizers.
Its chemical formula is ammonium dihydrogen phosphate (NH4H2PO4); It contains 12% N (nitrogen) and 61% P2O5 (phosphate). This fertilizer has the highest phosphorus content among other phosphorus-containing fertilizers. Due to its low nitrogen content, it is the most suitable way to provide phosphorus to plants. Since it does not contain harmful chemicals such as chlorine, sodium and heavy metals, it can be used safely on all kinds of plants.
MAP is generally produced by the synthesis of phosphoric acid with ammonia. The process is designed according to the preferred phosphoric acid properties.
